On October 8, the Hayward City Council adopted a resolution to adopt the City of Hayward’s first voting district map for district elections. The map below was selected along with its election sequence: Districts 1 and 6 will elect City Councilmembers to represent their respective districts in 2026 and voters in districts 2, 3, 4 and 5 will elect Councilmembers in 2028.
